I am sitting at the Southfork Landing real estate sales office in Garden Valley, Idaho. It is an amazing spring day that are so common in Garden Valley. Instead of sitting inside the office waiting for Buyers of Real Estate I am sitting outside in the sun and I am loving the sounds, the smells, and the views all around me.
Southfork Landing is a unique, conservation-oriented community complete with open vistas and dedicated to protection of the land and river that is Garden Valley's signature, the South Fork of the Payette River. Almost four miles of protected river frontage of the South Fork of the Payette River serves as Southfork Landing's northern border. Southfork Landing is working closely with several conservation entities to restore areas of the waterway to its original trout habitat in addition to the creation of natural ponds and streams flowing through the community. Approximately 60% (511 acres) of the total project site is dedicated as Open Space or Wildlife Conservation Areas.
This is the view right across from me.....
This view is to the left of me.......
They are working on the Trout Ponds and Streams. Talk about a fly fisherpersons paradise!
Two miles of private trout streams and 40 acres of stocked lakes and ponds meander throughout the property.
This is the Charter Ranch homestead. It is located by the Winter snow Tubing hill and close to where the amphitheater is going in. This building is amazing to me as I love old homes. The development is filled with Garden Valley history and Garden Valley real estate that has its own story to tell.

Southfork Landing has been thoughtfully designed to marry the unique natural surroundings with carefully planned home sites paying close attention to conservation and maintenance of open space.
They are creating a 3.5-mile-long protected conservation zone along the entire length of river frontage within Southfork Landing. Homesites are set back, on average, 300 feet from the river and placed perpendicular to the river. With this design, all homesites have a river and mountain view. Yet the river frontage remains protected from development in perpetuity.

I work out here at the Southfork Landing sales office frequently...... is this really working? LOL! I would love to share this amazing place with you, so be sure to stop in and work with me sometime as I sit on the front steps and thank God that I live, sell Real Estate and play in Garden Valley Idaho.
